Here is a bit on my latest project, my garden. We have tried this in the pass but each time the weeds have basically taking over. So this year’s garden is my attempt at fixing my weed problem.
Here is a picture of the garden, it is 8 ft x 8 ft.

The irrigation system that I put in is made of weeping tubes, I found that ½ inch copper tubing worked great for connecting it all together. This should help reduce the amount of water that is needed to keep the plants going during the summer. (here are a few pictures of the irrigation system)
(Here is where the hose connects to the system)

The garden looks great Matt! I'm planning on putting in a vegetable garden next summer - I'll come to you for tips :-)
The irrigation system looks great. I've buried lines to all of our flower beds and use the Lee Valley watering stuff for those but I never tought about burying those soaker hoses. So, if I understand it, you just bury it? Is there any special depth that it needs to be buried at, or does it need wrapped in something?
This is the first time I tried burying the soaker hose. It seems to be working very well.
I did not do anything special to it, just put it in the ground about 2-3 inch down. I also put it above ground in other parts of the garden.
Once comment is that it is easier to tell homw much watering has been done when you don't bury the hose.
